Molecular hydrogen is a gas, tasteless and odorless. It is considered to be the smallest, lightest, and thanks to its properties, functionally almost perfect molecule, forming a significant part of the Universe. Thanks to its minimal size it easily penetrates space and materials, including the cell membrane, where it can influence its individual parts and internal processes. In this way, it can effectively promote human health and positively affect the actual lifespan of each individual.
Molecular hydrogen H2 works in the body as a regulatory factor of intracellular events and processes. It can influence biochemical reactions, and together with other substances, H2 contributes to re-establishing a necessary internal balance. The balance violation is usually one of the root causes of the so-called human degenerative diseases.
So far, no noteworthy adverse effects of molecular hydrogen have been recorded. It is a substance that the body produces itself, although often in insufficient quantities. However, sometimes, as a negatively perceived "side-effects“ can be considered some physical manifestations associated with the rapid cleansing of body cells, which get rid of accumulated metabolic waste, often toxic. We note a rare incidence of an increased urge to urinate and defecate, which quickly subsides. Due to the fact that hydrogen is produced naturally in the intestines and is physiologically natural to our body, you may occasionally experience an increased occurrence of intestinal gasses.
The positive effects of H2 are researched by scientists all over the world. Most of the knowledge comes from research in Japan, where a breakthrough scientific work was initiated and prestigiously published in 2007. It proved that hydrogen actively affects how the action of so-called oxygen and nitrogen free radicals can be neutralized in the cell. We are talking about so-called selective antioxidant. Today, hydrogen is used not only in relation to the physical and mental health of humans but also animals and plants.
The effectiveness of hydrogen in the body is individual. If we talk about hydrogen as an active substance, e.g. in our dietary supplements, it is necessary to know that hydrogen is not contained in them but is created only subsequently in the large intestine thanks to the activity of certain types of bacteria of the intestinal microbiome. If we inhale hydrogen into our lungs by inhaling from our hydrogen generator, the effectiveness of the hydrogen thus received depends on the time of inhalation. We recommend inhaling a dose of 300 ml per minute for 30 minutes, preferably twice a day, if feasible.
Perception of the effect of hydrogen in the body is a very subjective matter. Objectively speaking, hydrogen in the body acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent, which both belong to internal processes that can often be perceived without even noticing them, you can't feel hydrogen when inhaling it through a nasal cannula (tasteless and odorless gas, 14-times lighter than air). You will not subjectively feel the effect of hydrogen in the body's cells, but certain sensory symptoms of cell cleansing (detoxification) may appear.
How quickly hydrogen begins to act in the body depends to a certain extent on the specific state of the body. Hydrogen first acts on processes leading to the restoration of balance, disturbed by oxidative stress to which the organism is exposed. With a one-time, or short-term exposure, the onset of the effect tends to be relatively fast, with a higher degree of long-lasting stress, it is necessary to allow the hydrogen the necessary time.
There are almost two thousand studies on the positive effect of hydrogen on body cells, and new ones are constantly published. Molecular hydrogen is becoming a scientific phenomenon of our time. Soon we can expect further results of scientific research into the effects of hydrogen on human and animal organism. Research into the effects of hydrogen on the body has been ongoing for several years now also in the Czech Republic, and a very beneficial effect on the speed and level of cell regeneration has been recorded and proven.
